Design of a circuit board starts with a layout of what you require the circuit to do. Plug and component placement depend on where the board will be mounted and the environment that the board will be used in.

What is board level design?

A: A system design may have many circuit boards design each board design will have an important and specific concept related tp the overall system design

What are the requirements for the power distribution board?

The requirements for a power distribution board typically include compliance with electrical safety standards, proper load capacity to handle the expected electrical load, and adequate insulation to prevent short circuits. It should feature appropriate circuit breakers or fuses for overload protection and ensure proper grounding. Additionally, the design should facilitate easy access for maintenance and inspections, while also considering environmental factors like temperature and humidity.

What is ACDB panel?

ACDB stands for alternating current distribution board. A distribution board or panel is part of an electricity supply system. The panel splits the power up into circuits. At the same time, it uses fuses or circuit breakers to provide protection from electrical overload.

What is radial distribution system?

There are 3 type of power distribution namely loop, network and radial.Radial distribution is the type of power distribution where the power is delivered from the main branch to sub-branches then it split out from the sub-branches again. it is the cheapest but least reliable network configuration.

What is the safe isolation procedure for a single phase motor fed of a distribution board?

Isolate the circuit feeding the motor at the distribution board and lock off or tag at the board so the motor cannot become live while being worked on. Unplug the motor and tag it suitably. Discharge any capacitors fully before servicing. Use your meter, Prove- Test- Prove.
