How do you change a URL file to a HTML file?

1. click on start (in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen)

2. click on programs

3. click on Acsessories

4 click on notepad

5. Type your HTML stuff you know like:

blah blah blah

6. Click Save

7. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!!!!!

When you save it, make sure that the file name ends in .HTML

For example: My_webpage.HTML

8. To edit the HTML file later: find it on My Computer and right-click on it. Choose Open With and then Notepad.

A URL is not a type of file. It stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It is a general name for an address on the internet. That would include html files and other kinds of files.
