The clamp on amp meter has to go around both of the parallel conductors to get an accurate reading of the line current. If you are using a current transformer, both wires have to go through the centre hole in the transformer.

Explain differancnce between instrument current transformer and measuring current transformer?

Current transformer is a device used to measure the flow of current through a power system and the measured current is inputted to a protective relay system. It is used to detect system malfunction. Current transducer is a device used to measure AC and DC current based on the halt-effect technology.

What happens if a light blows in a parallel circuit?

The rest of the lights in the system will remain illuminated. Except in that branch of the circuit. The parallel branch(s) get more current if the voltage potential remains the same.

How current transformer measure current?

A current transformer doesn't 'measure current'. It merely reduces a large current flowing through its primary to a smaller current which can be read by an ammeter connected to its secondary. At the same time, it electrically isolates the secondary circuit from the primary circuit, which is essential if the primary circuit is part of a high-voltage system.

What is the difference between parallel and distrtibuted opering system?

parallel operating system is tha sharing of data between two computers....... Distributing system is the sharing of data among different computers....

What an ampere is?

AnswerAn ampere (symbol: A) is the base unit of current in the SI system, and is defined in terms of the force between two, parallel, current-carrying conductors, due to the interaction of their magnetic fields. It's defined as follows: 'that constant current that, if maintained in two straight parallel conductors of infinite length and negligible cross-sectional area and placed one metre apart in a vacuum, would produce between them a force equal to 2 10-7 newtons per unit length'.

What is the difference between road transport system and blood circulating system?

IN road transport cars are running and in blood circulating system bloods is running from here to there

What units is electrical energy measured?

By 'speed of electricity', presumably, you mean 'speed of current'? We don't normally measure the speed of current but, rather, its intensity. The unit of measurement of current is the ampere (A), which is one of the SI system's seven base units. The ampere is defined in terms of the force a current produces, due to the magnetic field surrounding it, between two, parallel conductors.

What ishot gas or liquid circulating is called?

Hot gas or liquid circulating is commonly referred to as fluid circulation. This process is utilized in various systems and equipment to transfer heat or carry out other functions in a closed loop system.

Why Ampere is a fundamental unit why?

Ampere is a fundamental unit because it is a base unit in the International System of Units (SI) and is used to measure electric current. It is defined in terms of the force between two parallel conductors carrying current, making it a fundamental aspect of electromagnetism and essential for understanding electricity in physics and engineering.

Is it possible to measure power factor for dc system?

noAnswer'Power factor' is a quantity associated with alternating-current systems, and does not apply to direct-current systems'.

Is circulating blood a function of the nervous system?

While the nervous system controls the pumping of the heart as well as neurotransmitters and hormones that control vasodilation and vasocontraction, the circulatory system is primarily responsible for circulating blood throughout the body.

Parallel Virtual File System was created in 2003.

Is there a parallel universe in your solar system?

no because if there was a parallel earth there would have to be parallel planets

How do you know if a wire is carring current for the speakers in a vechiles?

With the system powered on and playing sounds measure the voltage at the speaker terminals with an AC voltmeter. If you measure voltage turn off the system and disconnect one of the speaker terminals and measure across the speaker with an ohm meter. If there is any significant conductance the wire is probably carrying current when the system is playing. Better yet take it to a competent technician.
