All Intel processors can be used for C++ programming. All you need is a suitable compiler/linker.
With regards performance, the N450 does not perform well compared to modern netbook processors. Given its age this is hardly surprising.
cathode tubes were used to detect the particle in an atom & found that negatively charged particles(electrons) are there in an atom.
An atom acquires a charge by losing or gaining electrons.
PCSX2 and most PS2 emulators generally require more processing power than a dual-core Atom processor can provide. The Atom CPU, even with ION graphics, is typically not sufficient for smooth emulation of PS2 games, as they demand more robust hardware for optimal performance. While some lightweight games might run, overall experience will likely be unsatisfactory due to low frame rates and potential glitches. For better emulation, a more powerful CPU and dedicated GPU are recommended.

The Intel Atom is available in both single core and dual-core varieties. The following Atom processors are single-core processors:230D410N270N280N450N470Z500Z510Z515Z520Z530Z540Z550The following Atom processors are dual-core processors:330D510
Intel's old processors .... But if u see in current scenario Then Intel ATOM
The rough equivalent would be the Intel Atom CPU, a low-power, low-performance single-core microprocessor used in netbooks and supermicro PC's.
The Intel Atom Dual-Core processor is a low-power, energy-efficient CPU designed for mobile devices, netbooks, and embedded systems. It features two processing cores, allowing for improved multitasking and performance compared to single-core processors. Atom processors are known for their compact size and ability to deliver adequate performance while minimizing power consumption, making them ideal for portable applications. Overall, they aim to balance performance with energy efficiency in smaller form factors.
A single core processor is just that... one processing core. A dual core processor is actually two processing cores on one chip. It is like having two processors in your system, but it is faster than two individual processors.
I am having an Intel atom based processors Netbook because it is a great little piece of technology of Intel, lightweight and easy to take anywhere and most important Intel Netbook is cheaper than a Tablet. Its cool!

The Intel Atom is an entry level processor, especially designed for the ultra-portable market such as netbooks. As it is considered a light weight processor, it performs well for basic tasks such as web surfing, chatting, social networking. It has recently started to enter the smartphone market. It's energy saving feature and low consumption make it ideal for periods of prolonged use which is not always available in other Intel processors.
Atom is a small power efficient processor for netbooks. This is usefull for browsing net and performing casual office tasks, but not a gaming processor. The Intel atom processor is the Intel's second processor (CPU) designed specifically for "Net Books". It is based on an entirely new micro architecture designed specifically for small devices and low power, while maintaining the Intel Core 2 Duo compatibility. It supports for multiple threads. It will be the Intel's smallest and lowest power processor. It will be manufactured on Intel's 45nm process technology. Recently, I'd purchased an Intel atom based processors Netbook because it is a great little piece of technology of Intel, lightweight and easy to take anywhere, and is much lesser price as compare with Laptop and with a great battery life.
Short answer: NO. Long answer: The Intel Atom processor is a very low-power, low-performance processor intended for netbooks that don't run processor-intensive programs. AutoCAD is one of the most processor-heavy programs on the planet, with even some dual-core processors suffering severe performance lag. For AutoCAD, I would recommend at least a high-end dual-core (upwards of a 2.6 GHz clock speed), like the Intel Core i3 or AMD Athlon II X2.

Intel Atom was created in 2008.
