It isn't. In car parking the only thing we need to keep track of is tickets. When we issue a new ticket we place it at the end of the array. When we extract a (paid) ticket, we simply move the last ticket into its place. This allows constant-time insertion and extraction. The only cost is that we must perform a linear search in order to locate a ticket for extraction, but we can perform linear searches across an array much quicker than we can with a linked-list because we don't have the additional cost of dereferencing individual nodes. Note that even if the list were in sorted order, we cannot use a binary search because lists do not allow constant-time random access. Arrays do allow efficient binary searches but we must maintain sorted order to do so and that may well cost more than a simple linear search. Given that linear search must be performed regardless of which container we use, an array is the better choice of the two.
If you are referring to the Linked Lists used in programming: You can use the Linked lists you learn in c++ (for example) to define actual shapes in OpenGL (a graphics library), then just 'call' the shapes and apply transformations to them (moving them around, rotating, etc). This method saves a lot of bandwidth between your CPU and video card as the shapes are defined already. Hopes this answers your question

E-R diagram for park management
Parking lots and parking decks usually have a finite amount of space available for vehicles. It may not be economically feasible to extend the boundaries of a parking lot or construct another parking deck. One viable solution to this parking problem is called stack parking. Traditional stack parking involves trained car valets parking cars bumper-to-bumper in a regular parking structure, but there is also a high-tech form of stack parking which uses hydraulic lifts and a significant amount of engineering skill. If a venue or institution offers stack parking, it is generally an alternative to self-parking in distant locations or metered parking. The driver pulls up to a designated location and hands over his or her car keys to a valet. The valet, often working in tandem with other parking attendants, drives the vehicle to a reserved parking area. Since the stack parking area is usually restricted to authorized valets, they are free to park the cars as close together as possible. If a car's owner needs to reclaim his or her car, the valets can move several cars at once to release it. Otherwise, the cars remain parked until the event is over and the cars can be driven out in order. Stack parking is not always an ideal arrangement for drivers who may need to leave an event early or cannot wait for the valet's return after the event. This type of stack parking works best when the driver knows he or she won't be returning for the car for a significant length of time. Students attending large urban campuses, for example, may allow their cars to be stack parked in a university-owned parking deck rather than pay for metered city parking or fail to find a space in student parking lots. Another type of stack parking involves an elaborate hydraulic system and a considerable amount of investment for the owners of the site. This high-tech version of stack parking first involves excavating a very deep hole on the property. A complex hydraulic system with individual slots for vehicles is then installed over the reinforced void. A hydraulic stack parking system can be three or four decks in height, and some can be moved vertically or horizontally with powerful hydraulic lifts. A trained parking attendant may be assigned to park a customer's car in a designated slot, or the driver may be given a set of keys to operate the hydraulic lifts himself or herself. Once an empty slot is maneuvered into place, the valet or driver parks the vehicle and exits the stack parking system. When the driver is ready to leave the venue, the decks are raised or lowered until the desired vehicle is on the ground level. This type of stack parking system maximizes the amount of available parking by literally stacking three or four cars in the space traditionally occupied by a single vehicle. One of the main drawbacks of a hydraulic stack parking system is the slowness of the retrieval system. It could take a significant amount of time for a stacked car to reach ground level, especially if the parking system moves both vertically and horizontally. Stack parking may be a viable solution to a limited parking situation, but drivers may have to learn a new set of coping skills as they wait for their vehicles to reach the ground.
I hate on a very very hot day tar gets so soft and sticky in parking lot and with my luck I walk right in the goowy tar with my sandals on.Oh I had one time I got out of my car and there was a huge puddle of tar that was under my car door and lucky me steps right in it with both of my heels on now Im stuck in between two car in the parking lot and I cant reach my ankle straps and my butt is press up against the car behind me and my knee are hitting my car door I was sooooo stuck and embarrassed.
Parking sensors are used to alert drivers of unseen obstacles during parking maneuvers. The parking sensors that are currently used by car producers are electromagnetic sensors and ultrasonic sensors.
A car park is also known as a parking garage or parking deck. Types of designs that are commonly used for car parks include a multi-story car park, two way flow 90 degree parking, and one way flow angled parking.

You can find compact car parking spaces in this area at designated compact car parking lots or garages.
The parking maneuver that is used when the parking space is at a 90-degree angle to the curb is perpendicular parking. the car should be in the center of the space and the wheel should be turned straight.
There are 7 parking spaces to each car

A car parking sensor is of great help - especially when driving a large car. During parking it indicates when the own car is getting too close to the other parked vehicles.
