The field of biomedical engineering is diverse and can launch you into many different paths. Biomedical engineering as a discipline can line you up for a job in many enginering firms, in medicine, and especially in research. Graduates can go on to earn masters or PhD degrees in specialties that allow them to design medical devices, human-computer interfaces, and data analysis tools that help people every day. In short, if you work hard, you can find a place for yourself and expect to earn 50,000 starting salary and up with experience and degree level.
There are benefits in almost every career you choose. Ultimately, it depends on your interest. If you like programming, then Software Engineering is the perfect choice for you. Plus, the average wage of a software engineer is quite high and they are currently in high demand throughout US and Canada.
Three Mechanical, civil and electrical engineering
Engineering schools are open to men and women. You can study process engineering or manufacturing engineering. There are many more choices. IT engineering is a good choice also.
I have met many engineering students and we have discussed about many engineering issues and disciplines. One question which almost every engineer asks is this: "which is the best carrier option for engineers? Which institute will help us learn more about our engineering field?". This question is asked by almost all engineering students no matter which branch of engineering they are in. Mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and all other engineers have this question in mind. So here I am going to tell you the best training institute for engineers and how it can help you all. Seabird Engineering Services in relatively a new concern in India which is globally popular Seabird engineering helps you in many ways. This is the only one engineering institute in India which teaches all about oil and gas field and the course fees is very cheaper My best suggestion in to take part in this courses and make you carrier bright

There are so many exciting careers that graduates can pursue in repairs. Some of them include electrical works, engineering, vehicle mechanics, computer repairs and so much more.
Engineering degrees can open up many jobs for graduates. One is working with a product development firm to create logistics with new products. There are other jobs.
Some schools that have a lot of students graduate with engineering degrees are too many to name bu here are a few of the better ones. My favorite is MIT,UCLA at Berkley and Devry.

"How many college graduates in 2007 in US?"
to many baked beans
The following is written by and according to the U.S. Department of Labor and particular to the education and training required for engineers.A bachelor's degree in engineering is required for almost all entry-level engineering jobs. College graduates with a degree in a natural science or mathematics occasionally may qualify for some engineering jobs, especially in specialties that are in high demand. Most engineering degrees are granted in electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. However, engineers trained in one branch may work in related branches. For example, many aerospace engineers have training in mechanical engineering. This flexibility allows employers to meet staffing needs in new technologies and specialties in which engineers may be in short supply. It also allows engineers to shift to fields with better employment prospects or to those which more closely match their interests. Most engineering programs involve a concentration of study in an engineering specialty, along with courses in both mathematics and the physical and life sciences. Many programs also include courses in general engineering. A design course, sometimes accompanied by a computer or laboratory class or both, is part of the curriculum of most programs. Often, general courses not directly related to engineering, such as those in the social sciences or humanities, also are required. In addition to the standard engineering degree, many colleges offer 2-year or 4-year degree programs in engineering technology. These programs, which usually include various hands-on laboratory classes that focus on current issues in the application of engineering principles, prepare students for practical design and production work, rather than for jobs that require more theoretical and scientific knowledge. Graduates of 4-year technology programs may get jobs similar to those obtained by graduates with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Engineering technology graduates, however, are not qualified to register as professional engineers under the same terms as graduates with degrees in engineering. Some employers regard technology program graduates as having skills between those of a technician and an engineer. For the source and more detailed information concerning your request, click on the related links section (U.S. Department of Labor) indicated directly below this answer section.
High School, Junior College or college graduates?
High School, Junior College or college graduates?
lets put it this way who creates the technology? ....... engineers. Newly revised estimates show every year the U.S. graduate 137,437 engineers while India graduates 112,000 engineers. However China is graduating the most at 351,000 engineering students every year. I wish i had the numbers for how many japan graduates every year but the article below shows that in 2008 there was like appeal to be an engineering student in japan. The site lists the number of engineering and science undergraduates at slightly higher than 500,000. While this is much higher than those graduating in the US in engineering the estimation cannot be compared to the estimates of the U.S, India and China. this is because the estimate is based on the field scientists and engineers which is much more broad than the estimates based only on engineers. However after some research i found that in 2003 of the 40,621,000 graduates in the U.S 12 percent or 4,874,520 people graduated with degrees in science and engineering fields. Unfortunately i have no idea the actual figures are for 2010.so i am unfortunately comparing estimates from 2003 to those taken in 2008. However you can pretty much figure it out that 503,026 vs 4,874,520 is no contest.
