If you live on an old farm or a residence that housed a lot of motor vehicles, there may be an oil tank buried in the ground that was used to fuel machines. These tanks can corrode over time and leech unwanted toxins into the groundwater, or one may be taking up space where you'd like to build. Either way, you can safely remove an in-ground oil tank with a few tools from the hardware store and one or two strong friends.
