One gallon is 3.8 liters and the density is about 0.75 kg/liter, so 1 gallon weighs 2.85 kg = 6.28 lb. If a ton is 2240 lb this would be 356.7 gallons. If you mean the short ton of 2000 lb it would be 318.5 gallons.
