3,218 as evident in the San Giordano Wind Farm just outside Palm Springs Ca
According to the British Wind Energy Association (BWEA), there are currently 2,386 wind turbines in use at the moment, producing some 3,301.09 megawatts of power. There are another 598 in the process of been built, and some 3,500 in the planning proposal stage, although BWEA expect two thirds of these will not receive planning permission.
1 megawatt = 1,000,000 watts1 kilowatt = 1,000 wattsSo 544 million kilowatts is 524,000,000,000 watts. In megawatts this is 524,000 MW. Or 524 gigawatts (GW)

Yes, There are wind turbines with more than three blades... Basically that would only apply for the turbines which are not commercial like the turbines which are installed at home etc. and there are also wind turbines with horizontal axis, and again that would not apply to commercial wind farm. Usually Wind Turbines are BIG in size and mostly used to Generate Commercial Electricity so installing a Turbine with more than 3 turbines is not a viable thing.

The number of wind turbines needed would depend on various factors such as the size and capacity of the power plant, the efficiency of the turbines, and the local wind conditions. In general, it would likely require a significant number of turbines to match the electricity output of a power plant.
250 Megawatts = 250,000,000 Watts.
60 gigawatts is equal to 60,000 megawatts since each gigawatt is equivalent to 1,000 megawatts.
The time it takes to produce 500 megawatts of electricity depends on the power generation capacity of the plant. If the plant has a capacity of 100 megawatts, it would take 5 days to produce 500 megawatts.
A typical nuclear power plant produces 500 to 5000 megawatts of power. If we take 2000 as average, an average plant produces 2000 megawatt hours in an hour, or 48,000 megawatt hours in a day. But please note: Technically, this does not answer the question asked, because the question asked for megawatts, not megawatt hours. The question as asked is like asking how many horsepower a car can produce in a day. The measure of electrical output over a period of time is a watt hour, or, in this case, the megawatt hour. So the question answered was, "How many megawatt hours does a nuclear power plant make in a day?"
The number of wind turbines needed to replace a coal power station depends on the size and capacity of the coal plant, as well as the size and efficiency of the wind turbines. On average, it can take several dozen to hundreds of wind turbines to replace a single coal power station.
The number of wind turbines required to match the output of a coal plant depends on several factors, including the capacity of both the coal plant and the individual wind turbines. For example, a typical coal plant might have a capacity of around 500 megawatts (MW), while modern wind turbines can range from 1.5 to 3 MW each. Generally, it takes about 2 to 3 wind turbines to produce the same amount of energy as a single megawatt of coal power, meaning that a coal plant would require approximately 200 to 300 wind turbines to match its output, assuming optimal wind conditions.
Why would you want to know this?I dont know ask your mom or someone
That depends how powerful the turbines are and how many the dam has.
how many turbines are in Ontario
There are 250,000 watts in 0.25 megawatts. Mega denotes 1,000,000, so 0.25 megawatts is equal to 250,000 watts.
It is 2400 million watts.
