We just had (Dec,2008) estimates on replacing the boiler in a hydronic (hot water) heating system.
The building is, commercial, 6000 square feet , basement and upper level combined.
The estimates were not all specific as to boiler size.
One of them stated, 260,000 BTU, Peerless MI-09.
Another estimate stated, Peerless MI-08, at 227,000 BTU.
Lowest estimate was, $4870. Highest estimate was, $7285.
Two other estimates were in between.
