There is usually a refuelling outage every 2 years or so, but only about 1/4 of the fuel charge is replaced every time, so any particular fuel assembly might stay in the core for up to 8 years. Fuel at the core centre burns up more quickly than at the periphery, so that's another factor. The pattern of refuelling visits will be determined by an assessment using computer programmes, by nuclear physics staff.
