There is no fixed rule for this. If manual mix, cement content shall vary between 350 ~ 400 Kg / M3.

Where as for Design mix (RMC), the cement content is decided by the supplier based on lot of other parameters and achieve the desired strength in 3, 7, 15 & 28 Days. Also PFA (Portland Fly Ash) shall also be added to some extent to arrive the desired strenth. The Cement & Fly Ash content shall be 300 / 80 kg per M3, to achieve the desired strength.

What is the concrete mixing ratio in m60 concrete?

cemet: sand: Agg=1:1:2 (Nominal Mix) Above answer is not as per engineering standards. For concrete mixing ration in M30 grade concrete, the mix has to be designed after testing all the materials including water in labs. When you go for higher grade of concretes the mix has to be designed , it is the water to cement ratio which has to be monitered for higher grades of concrete

Why M30 concrete is used in foundation?

M30 concrete is commonly used in foundations due to its high compressive strength of 30 MPa, which provides adequate support for various structures. Its balanced mix of cement, aggregates, and water ensures durability and resistance to environmental factors. Additionally, M30 concrete offers good workability, making it easier to place and finish in foundation applications. This strength and reliability make it suitable for both residential and commercial construction projects.

What is the ratio of cement sand and aggregate in M30 mix of concrete?

The ratios of cement to sand to aggregate for the different grades of concrete are as follows. M10 has a ratio of 1:3:6. M15 has a ratio of 1:2:4. M20 has a ratio of 1:1.5:3. M25 has a ratio of 1:1:2, but M30 has no set ratio. It is a designed mixture to achieve the stress tolerance desired.

How many kg of cement for 1m3 concrete?

there are 108 20kg bags of concrete to 1 cu mtr. If your making your own mix using dry mix concrete requiring cement and water, and your making a mix ratio of 5:1, then you divide 108 by 6 = 18. therefore: 18x20kg bags of cement to 1800kgs of dry concrete mix.

What is the process of calculating quantity of cement sand metal in concrete mix design?

Choose the grade of concrete & assume minimum water/cement ratio.Conduct some initial tests on the materials like cement, sand & metal(coarse aggregate).Tests like UNIT WEGHT, SPECIFIC GRAVITY,SIEVE ANALYSIS,SLUMP CONE TEST & COMPACTION FACTOR TEST. According to the obtained results do the mix design from IS CODE of IS800-10262 check for water cement ratio & calculate the quantity of cement, sand & coarse aggregate.

What is the difference between laen concrete and ready mix concrete?

Laen concrete contains very little actual cement. Laen cement is used as a base that is found under other cements. Ready mix concrete is used for primary uses of cement structures.
