Maybe because if we build a train with non-metal it will not able to carry heavy loads which a train build with metal can easily do
To actually build one is pretty hard but in essence it uses two magnets facing each other, but they are on opposite poles (North on South/South on North) so thus, they repel each other, making the train levitate. That's where the name comes from- Mag (magnet) lev (levitate).
yes. in running the train, some power is still needed to propel the train forwards. Although some of this can be regained by regenerative braking, there will inevitably be some loss. Unless the train is fully powered on renewables, there will still be pollution as a result of running the train. Even if the train is powered on renewablesand generates no pollution in running, the energy and resources to build the train (not to mention tracks etc) have to come from somewhere, most likely with resultant atmospheric pollution.
it depend how you look at they came up with several similar thing that were not quit maglev train starting for the 1900's but the actual model started in 2001 and finish in 2005 so it about 4 years
Advantages: - Early style of railroads, and was (at one point) the only way to power a train. - Gave another reason to mine coal. - Helped railroads grow and learn more about the fundamentals of railroading. - Iconic to most. Disadvantages: - Very polluting way of powering a train. - Uses coal, now considered a vital material. - Very large, and hard to make. - Used steam, a pressurized product that could (under unexperienced control) over pressurize and cause the locomotive to explode. - VERY labor intensive. Sometimes, firemen never stopped shoveling coal. - Extremely hard to maintain. So many moving parts, so much lubrication, so much to do each facility. There you are. The major disadvantages, and advantages to steam locomotives.
Very. Every foot of trackage must be a linear motor. That takes a lot of copper.Which is not cheap. And don't forget the power requirements ... holding up a whole train is not cheap.

list of advantages and disadvantages of luggage security system
The advantage of scientific management is that it is effective and efficient. The disadvantage is that it is costly to train the personnel and install some systems.
There are advantages and disadvantages to traveling with an infant on a plane or train. However, traveling on a plane may be best, because planes are generally faster than trains.
Advantages of traveling by bullet train compared to plane include shorter travel times for shorter distances, more comfortable seating, and easier boarding processes. Disadvantages may include limited route options, slower speeds for longer distances, and potentially higher ticket prices.
Because the speed is decreased less from an equal gear ratio.
The advantages: -Getting Money -Not having to spend time starting cars or pedaling a bicycle -Getting famous The disadvantages: -People stop using system -System breaks I had this question in my textbook and decided to answer it here.
