Based on practical experience, deaerator manufacturers will aim to vent 22,4 kg / h of steam/air mixture per 1.000 kg / h of deaerator capacity.
Bad venting
Cast Iron is great for drainage and steel piping is good for venting (galvanized , or wrought iron or yalloy ) for venting
Deaerator removes dissolved oxygen from boiler water. The condensate cascades down a number of perforated trays and its surface area is greately increased. This enables dissolved oxygen to come out. Further bleed steam is supplied to deaerator and due to this the atmosphere is predominantly of steam. So the partial pressure of oxygen above the water level is very very low. When a gas exists above a liquid level, the solubility gas in the liquid depend upon its partial pressure. So oxygen comes out of water. Deaerator outlet water has less than 0.05 ppm dissolved oxygen. This is furthe removed by dizing of Hydrazene (N2H2). =A.D.PALAMWAR
Improper venting.
Fixture waste can accumulate in vent, eventually clogging it.
The water in the deaerator tank doesn't turn into steam because the water is kept at a high pressure, preventing it from boiling. The purpose of the deaerator is to remove dissolved gases from the feedwater, not to produce steam.
The tank is not venting properly.
A deaerator device is a mechanism found on steam boilers. Its purpose is to remove oxygen and other gases from the water that is entering the boiler tank, since the presence of oxygen or gases can cause corrosion on the inside of the boiler.

Check the venting and possibly install a trap
Gas tankless water heaters require proper venting to safely remove combustion gases from the unit. Venting requirements typically include using a dedicated vent pipe that is properly sized and installed according to the manufacturer's guidelines. It is important to ensure that the venting system is designed to prevent backdrafting and allows for proper airflow to maintain efficient and safe operation of the water heater.
The tank is not venting properly. It could be a plugged hose or a restricted vent valve.
Could be a venting problem.
In a steam boiler system, condensate return does not necessarily need to go through a flash tank before entering the Deaerator (DA) tank. However, using a flash tank can be beneficial in recovering some heat and reducing pressure, allowing for more efficient use of the condensate. This process can help minimize the amount of makeup water required and improve overall system efficiency. Ultimately, whether to include a flash tank depends on the specific system design and operational requirements.
deaerator is a device used to remove dissolved oxygen and carbondi oxide in boiler feed water. it causes scaling inside the boiler tubes and economizer also.
Usually core support. If need be follow the lines from the tank or carb. Tank vapors are drawn into engine & burned vs venting to atmosphere.
