Missile defense systems are very limited in nature. If one missile gets out of control, it might be shot down as the USS Lake Erie shot down a USA missile in a test on Feb. 14, 2009. If there are several missiles coming at you, they will overwhelm the best defense systems. Missile defense systems do Nothing to stop aircraft bombers. Bombers that fly below radar. Bombers that have stealth anti radar covering. Bombers that carry air-to-air and/or air-to-ground rockets and or missiles. Bombers can get around most missile defense systems.

Inside a missile, key components include the guidance system, which helps direct the missile to its target; the propulsion system, typically consisting of rocket engines or motors that provide thrust; and the warhead, which contains the explosive or payload designed to cause damage. Additionally, there are control surfaces and fins for stability and maneuverability during flight. The missile may also contain sensors and electronics for communication and targeting.
Without radar, our ability to detect and track objects in the air and at sea would be severely compromised. Aviation safety would decline, as pilots would struggle to navigate and avoid collisions, particularly in low visibility conditions. Additionally, military operations would be hindered, as tracking enemy movements and missile defense systems rely heavily on radar technology. Overall, the absence of radar would lead to increased risks and inefficiencies in transportation, defense, and weather forecasting.
Most Nazi scientific efforts were guided by military considerations, they were especially fruitful in the areas of rocket propulsion, jet propulsion, and missile guidance. To name a few:V-1: The first operational, powered, UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle), first pulse-jet-propelled air craft, first cruise missile.V-2: The first operational, short range, ballistic missile. It achieved sub-orbital space flight at an altitude of approximately 80 km.Rheinbote: The second operational, short range, ballistic missile, designed to replace or augment large bore artillery pieces.Ruhrstahl X-4: The first wire-guided ATA (Air-To-Air) missile, developed & tested, but never deployed.ME163: The first operational, manned, rocket-propelled air craft.ME262: The first operational, manned, jet-propelled air craft.Der Wasserfall (The Waterfall): The first developed, but never deployed, rocket-propelled STA (Surface To Air), guided missile. Today it would be called a SAM.Henschel Hs 293: The first operational, Anti ship, Rocket-propelled, guided missile (It began as Fritz X, a stand-off, radio-controlled, gliding bomb (also, a first); then the engine was added to allow low altitude delivery and to increase range and stand-off distance.)Henschel Hs 293D: As above, but television guided (never deployed).

All soldiers are patriots. But there's a surface-to-air missile system called Patriot. The soldiers who operate it are "Patriot Missile Crewmen."
Missile Defense Agency was created in 2002.
The U.S. recently sold 209 Patriot missiles to Kuwait for about $900 million. Therefore, each missile costs $4.3 million.
The cost of a Patriot missile battery can vary significantly based on configuration and quantity, but a single Patriot battery typically ranges from $1 billion to $2 billion. This includes the cost of the launchers, missiles, radar systems, and associated support equipment. Additionally, each Patriot missile can cost around $3 million to $4 million, depending on the specific variant and capabilities.

Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) refer to various missile systems designed to target and destroy aircraft. Some well-known examples include the SA-2 Guideline, Patriot missile system, and the NASAMS (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System). These systems vary in range, capability, and technology, with some designed for short-range defense and others for long-range interception. Each system plays a crucial role in modern air defense strategies.

The main goal for the Missile Defense Agency is to protect by creating a layered missile defense system. This will be able to defend all ballistic missiles during different stages of flight. As well as this they also have 9 other goals in order to promote this defense method. This includes showing that this is a successful method of defense by means testing with positive outcomes, developing management resources as well as positively using tax payers money in order to fund the testing of the defense missile.
