My son's MRI impression reads -MRI scans features s/o periventricular leukomalacia. The Neurologist told me it is a scar of brain. I want more explanation on this regard. While my son was under going treatment for ALL, he had high fever due to infection. One night he had convulsion followed by coma. The doctors told me he had no chance of survival since he had brain remarriage .It was their fault because instead of giving him platelates prescribed by the relived doctor, the reliver doctor had given him plasma. CTscan could not be done at that time because my son had allergic to a tranqualiser. He was two yrs old. Since he is having petit mal now at the age of 15,we consulted a Neurologist who advised for MRI and EEG.

Digital Comics Preservation. This group scans graphic novels (comic books) for preservation issues. There are a large number of hard-to-find, rare and expensive comic books, due to their age and the number printed, that would make it difficult for a fan to get their hands on them. These "scans" are then made readily available for public consumption. This does have a potential drawback of allowing people to read someone's intellectual property without paying for it, but this probably also increases readership for that book. Many of the scans are available at torrent sites using dcp as the search option.

Biometric scans are used to identify or authenticate individuals based on their unique physical or behavioral traits, such as fingerprints, facial features, or voice patterns. These scans provide a secure and efficient method of identification, often replacing traditional passwords or access codes.
Bilateral periventricular white matter hypodensities in the brain could indicate a variety of conditions, such as small vessel disease, multiple sclerosis, or leukoaraiosis. These hypodensities may be seen on imaging studies like CT or MRI scans and are typically associated with a disruption in the normal white matter structures. Further evaluation and clinical correlation are necessary to determine the underlying cause and appropriate management of this finding.

Having high blood pressure can greatly increase the possibility of suffering from a stroke or heart attack. An increase of white matter on an MRI scan may help measure both risks. Ischemic changes in white matter, relative to chronic periventricular, are commonly found by examining MRI scans. Ischemic change in white matter can be attributed to diabetes, a high content of fat in the blood and high blood pressure, which all can be attributed to raising the risk of having a stroke.
