These ISO standards are both part of the ISO 9000 family of standards. ISO 9001 mainly focuses on the requirements of organizations that intends to meet the set standard by ISO. On the other hand, ISO 9002 is basically the same with ISO 9001 but doesn't cover the creation of new products aspect.

Conceptually ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 both work to provide a framework for continual improvement. However ISO 14001 is striving for environmental improvement where ISO 9001 is striving for operational process improvement. ISO 14001 is one of the 16 international ISO 14000 family of standards which aims to reduce a company's damaging impact to the environment. It serves only as the organization's framework in creating their environmental management system. On the other hand, ISO 9001 is one of the ISO 9000 family of standards that aims to provide better Quality Management system for organizations. They are not obtained through the ISO itself but through third party certification bodies.
