PQSERVICE is a hidden partition by Acer used in Acer, Packard Bell and EMachine's. It contain Recovery files, drivers, software like eRecovery and passwords.

How do you turn on pqservice in widnows 7?

Go to your Start Menu, Control Panel, System, then to the left of your screen you see System Protection, click it. System Properties will pop up, go to the System protection tab. Next, go to the configuration button and click it. You'll see it has 3 choices to pick from. Restore system settings and previous versions of files, Only restore previous versions of files or Turn off system protection.
