Well, Information usually means it's telling you something a fact, info on life that stuff. Explanation means like if you don't understand something they will explain it to you. Or on a little mini game it will tell you what you need to do.
If that doesn't actually help you find your answer, I'm sorry but I don't know then.
Informational text is valuable to a reader.
Formatting the text might include changing the style of it. Editing the text is changing the text only.

Hypertext is text that has been marked up with tags to indicate its structure. Hypertext also, by definition, is capable of linking between separate documents using "hyperlinks." Plain text is not capable of this.

Informational text is a broader category that includes all types of text designed to convey information or provide knowledge, while factual text specifically refers to text that presents facts and information without opinions or interpretations. In other words, all factual texts are informational, but not all informational texts are strictly factual.

Text feature are words that are important and graphic feature are picture , maps , graphs , etc........
A narrative is a story told from one person's perspective. An informational text is perspective-neutral. For example, a narrative would be "He saw the forklift driven by a good friend of his brother-in-law." The same event in an informational text format would be "The forklift was driven by a good friend of Bob's brother-in-law." The difference is who is relating the information - in the first example, "he" is the channel for the information while in the second example, there is no specific individual providing the information.
In an informational text, you are likely to find headings, subheadings, bullet points, diagrams, and charts as text features and visual cues. Poems, on the other hand, often use line breaks, stanzas, rhyme schemes, and figurative language like metaphors and similes. The presence or absence of these text features can impact the ease of understanding and engagement with the content - informational texts with clear features may aid comprehension, while poems with visual cues may enhance the emotional impact of the poem.
The beginning of a summary of informational text should include the main topic or subject of the text, the purpose or intention of the text, and a brief overview of the key points or main ideas that will be discussed.
A map is a visual representation of a geographic area, showing the relationship between different features. A layout, on the other hand, refers to the arrangement of elements within a design or document, such as text, images, and graphics. In cartography, a layout may include one or more maps along with other informational elements.
