farad is the unit for capacitance in SI system. If one volt is developed as one coulomb charge is placed then capacitance has to be one farad.
But one farad is enormous large one so practically speaking we use only micro farad, nano farad and pico farad. They are respectively 10-6 F, 10-9 F and 10-12 F
Capacitance is measured in Farads. "The unit... in ohm and meter" does not make sense.
Farad
Capacitors are measured in Farads or microfarads.
Capacitance in mosfet is of three types: gate capacitance diffusion capacitance routing capacitance Gate capacitance: limits the speed of the device t which it can be operated Diffusion capacitance: It is the capacitance due to charge carriers between drain and source. Routing capacitance: It is the capacitance of the metal which is deposited on the top of oxide layer.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM YOU NEED SOLVED??? OR JUST THE UNDERSTANDING.... OF THE UNIT OF MEASUREMENT REPLY MARVINDKP @LIVE.COM
It is a unit of capacitance
Capacitance is measured in Farads. "The unit... in ohm and meter" does not make sense.
The unit that measures Capacitance is Farads. The letter symbol for that is a capital F.
Farads
The unit of measurement named after Michael Faraday is the "farad," which is used to measure electrical capacitance. Faraday was a pioneering physicist and chemist known for his work in electromagnetism and electrochemistry.
Farad
It is unit of capacitance. 220 micro farad.
The reciprocal of capacitance is called electrical elastance, the (non-standard, non-SI) unit of which is the daraf.
This is not a proper question. What is 'it' referring to?
The Farad is used to measure capacitance. Most small electronic capacitors are in microFarads(uF) or picoFarads (pF). The unit is name after Michael Faraday, the English chemist and physicist.
