Engineering Drawing is a two dimensional representation of three dimensional object. It is graphic language from which a trained person can visualize the object. It is an universal language of engineers by which you can represent your new ideas.
Mechanical Engineers use E.D to draw Auto mobiles,Machine Designs and Components etc.
Civil people use the same E.D for representing the designs of structures, dams, bridges, building etc.
Electrical and Electronics engineers use it for drawing circuits, electronic components, fabrication works, satellite designs,Antenna for signal recieving etc.
Back in the days before colour screens on computers there was a need to identify different area of a drawing by function. This was done by the use of various markings or hatching's on the drawing itself and identified on the side of the drawing by a short list of the hatching's and what the hatching's meant.
graphics or engineering drawing is the language of engineers.they express that they could give the 3D as well as 2D idea of the stuff which they want to.
we can use the survey for know field condition, estimate, to know our area in cutting or filling and how much, where is hole and where is mountain also for drawing etc.
drawing materials r those through which we do drawing..........n we use it by ourself
The mini-drafter is a versatile tool and can be used for almost everything. It can be used to draw parallel lines, perpendiculars, inclined lines of any degree with unmatched speed. it consists of one long scale and one small scale and the scales are shaped in 'L' shaped and by a mini drafter we can do 3 kinds of works : 1) drawing of lines 2)drawing perpendiculars for the lines 3)we can use that as a protracter simultanously
Various engineering fields will use them. Electricity and electronics.
Use of the engineering process
I don't use engineering drawings.... I guess?!

Physics, Chemistry, etc. Later on in many fields of Engineering and many science-based fields.
Many fields of engineering are based more or less on chemistry: chemical engineering, metallurgy, foods industry, mining, etc.

The artists use drawing to highlight various social or political commentary by using the cartoons.
Careers in fields such as scientific research, data analysis, environmental science, engineering, and healthcare rely on the scientific method. These careers involve conducting experiments, making observations, collecting data, and drawing conclusions based on evidence.
It is likely that you will undertake courses teaching the use of computer aided design while undertaking a BEng in Civil Engineering.
Isometric Drawing: keeps the scale the same along each axis of the drawing, use mostly in engineering. Oblique Drawing: is a type of parallel projection of an object to give it a sort of 3D effect on paper, a much simpler form of drawing.
