Bhansali Component & Fasteners is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of best quality fasteners. We use the highest quality raw materials to manufacture and export fasteners such as nuts, bolts, washers, pins, etc. in stainless steel and other materials.
There are basically two methods, firstly you could use a very strong form of adhesive, but for obvious reasons this is not recommended, secondly, fasteners are generally used like bolts or another piece of metal strapping the wood that gets bolted on. Keep in mind that wood absorbs moisture and metal rusts, so make sure you seal both materials well.
fastener and even if it is designed to fasten wood to wood, it could also fasten sheet metal to wood.

The best fasteners to use for pressure treated wood to ensure durability and longevity are stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners. These materials are resistant to corrosion and will help prevent the fasteners from deteriorating over time.
It's not so much the size of wood that matters, it's the joints of the trunk, the kind of wood, the style, decorative or plain, the type if fasteners you will use, and most importantly your skill level, these questions must be considered before you begin. Once you decide, I suggest you use a manufactured wood (plywood, MDF, particleboard), these are more stable and prone to less movement, [you can always veneer for a finished decorative look]. For the thickness of wood, you can use 1/2", but, 3/4" would be much easier to work with, (joints, glue areas, and holding power of any fasteners you use, etc.

It determines what kind of joinery, fasteners, and adhesive methods should be used. For example you would not use glue to adhere pieces of metal together, you may instead weld them together, which you can not do with wood due to its flammability nor with ceramics do to risk of it exploding under extreme heat.

A wood drill bit is a tool used to create holes in wood. It is typically attached to a drill and spins to bore into the wood. Woodworkers use drill bits to make holes for screws, dowels, and other fasteners in woodworking projects.
