My Guess is Nitrogen as it is less active, is in the air, and does not normally ( b y itself, compounds are another thing) support combustion. Nitrogen forms about 78 percent of normal atmosphere. I think it is used also in related applications such as hydraulic adjustable chairs common in computer rooms, and also office furnishings. These definitely contain a gas, from the residual noises.

What is the type of circuit called when it has an conductor a switch a electric cell a resistor?

The type of circuit you are describing is known as a simple circuit. It consists of a power source (electric cell), a switch, a conductor (usually wire), and a resistor to control the flow of electric current.

Closed switch definition?

A closed switch is a type of electrical switch that completes an electrical circuit, allowing current to flow freely. When the switch is closed, it connects the circuit's conductive paths, enabling devices to operate. In contrast, an open switch breaks the circuit, stopping the flow of electricity. Closed switches are commonly used in various applications, from household appliances to industrial machinery.

How does a car brake light switch work?

In most cases a brake light switch is of the normally open type when the brake pedal is operated this makes the switch a closed circuit which lets the current flow from the fuse to the vehicles brake lights On some older British vehicles the switch was in the brake line it was operated by the hydraulic pressure in the brake circuit when the pedal was operated

What type of circuits allow the movement of electric energy?

Open circuits and closed circuits both allow the movement of electric energy. In an open circuit, electric energy cannot flow because the circuit is incomplete. In a closed circuit, electric energy can flow because the circuit is complete and forms a continuous pathway for the energy to move.

How does electricity flow in a circuit and what factors influence its movement?

Electricity flows in a circuit when electrons move through a closed loop of conductive material. Factors that influence the movement of electricity include the voltage difference, resistance in the circuit, and the type of material the circuit is made of.

What circuit type provides a battery return path?

A circuit that provides a battery return path is known as a closed circuit. In a closed circuit, the electrical current flows from the positive terminal of the battery through the load (like a resistor or light bulb) and returns to the negative terminal of the battery, completing the circuit. This return path is essential for allowing current to flow and enabling the device to function. In contrast, an open circuit lacks a complete pathway, preventing current from flowing.
