Synchronous motor or induction motor
thermal motor protector is temperature; current type is current.
A 120 volt motor is the inducer motor. It works the furnace.
Induction motor
It is submersible motor.
the big block will bolt right to the small block motor mounts but they do make big block motor mounts that you can buy and install on the 66, it lets the engine sit a little lower and further to the drivers side.
At the back of the boat. The transom is reinforced to accommodate the boat motor.
A truck with an open back or a motor home
B16 head with a b18c1 bottom block, and b16 or type R tranny. Also with Integra type R piston, camshaft, cams and intake manifold.
Part/casting number on the back of the block..... If the engine has not been tampered with, you can look at the harmonic balancer size, type of exhaust manifolds used. If the heads are off the motor, the evidense will be obvious due to bore size
Answer the block casting #are on the back of the block and on the frount there is aleo a # on the sied of the block it is the last 3 #`s of the block coad. the frount # is usuly altered when engine builders like (jasper) rebuild them. so your best # to go by is on the rear fo the block. The casting numbers on any small block Chevy are behind the distubar on the drivers side if the block and the numbers can be identified at any dealership AnswerNo,that answer isn't correct. The casting number is on the passenger side of the engine just below the head right in front. You'll see where the block sticks out past the head (like a shelf)that's where it's at. AnswerThe number cast into the back of the block can tell you what size motor your looking at. The number on the front can tell you the year and type of vehicle it came from as well.
It all depends on what year vehicle the motor originally came in, what type of vehicle it came in (car or truck) and finally what, if any "performance packages" the vehicle had (SS, RS, heavy duty etc.). The best way would be to find the serial # on the front of the motor on the passenger side where the head meets the block. This # will give you every detail about the block the only downside to this is if the motor was rebuilt later on the # usually get milled off during the machining process. Your only other option is to get the # off of the back top of the block where it meets the transmission but all this # will really tell you is where and when it was made.
ASUMING YOU HAVE A VG30E MOTOR ITS MOUNTED ON THE BLOCK.BETWEEN THE BLOCK AND THE FIREWALL NEAR THE TRANNY....IF YOU DO NOT KNOW YOU MOTOR TYPE LOOK ON MY BIO PAGE FOR INFO ON HOW TO TELL,ALL THE BEST................BUDDY MACK..
Yes you can. You can either use your LS block and put a Vtec head on it or you can just swap it out with a GSR or Type-R motor.
GEN2 on GEN1 = NO, ( the gen 2 engine is not anything like the traditional small block) Carb type on FI = Yes
Type your answer here... In the trunk under the floor between the spare and the back bumper
