there is a gasket beetween the tank and the bowl. the gasket could either be pinched or need to be replaced. It's an easy fix, and you can find standard gaskets at your local hardware store. there should be two or three bolts underneath the bowl. be sure to shut the water off first and flush the toilet as many times as possible to get the water out of the tank. Good luck.
AnswerThere are two possible causes why your toilet tank leaks when flushed. The mostcommon one would be your tank to bowl gasket that sits between your tank & bowl.you would need to replace it.The secound can be tricky.Check in your tank andmake sure your fill tube is in the overflow. This tube fills your bowl when you flush. If it is out it can cause a leak even if your T.top is on.. AnswerYour right on checking the fill tube first, i have seen it before. And I'm surei will see it again. But yes 9 out of 10 will be gasketpartially clogged drain or vent, improperly installed vent or drain
Improper venting.
You probably need to replace the wax ring and possibly tighten the two bolts that hold the toilet to the floor.
A toilet making a noise resembling a jammed vacuum cleaner when flushed could indicate a problem with the fill valve or a blockage in the plumbing. The fill valve may be malfunctioning, causing water to flow erratically, while a blockage could restrict water flow, leading to unusual sounds. Additionally, issues with the toilet’s flapper or tank components could create abnormal noises. It's advisable to inspect these parts or consult a plumber for a thorough diagnosis.
it would be impossible unless you had a toilet bigger than you!
My toilet is doing the same thing this morning. We had a big rain last night. Could this be part of the cause?
A toilet may bubble when flushed due to a clog in the drain pipe, causing air to be trapped and released as the water flows through. This can create bubbles in the toilet bowl as the air escapes.
in USA? YES anywhere else? I don't know but i heard in Mexico they have such bad sewers that they don't allow toilet paper to be flushed which I would not want to be the garbage man there
you need a hammer arrester. They sell a nifty hammer arrester that will fit on the pipe supplying the toilet without having to use a torch. fairly cheap ($12) and easy to install. A loose washer in the toilet shut off valve can cause this problem.
In a sewage plant. No
My g/f has this happen to her regularly and, it was only when I asked that she said she usually flushes once to get the flush working and then immediately after to make certain the toilet flushes everything away. She said that if a toilet has good pressure, it will often splash out when she flushes.
One would hope the last person flushed when they were done or if not, you flushed before using that particular toilet. One would also assume that if there were feces on the seat you would not use it. Once flushed, the one or two possible viruses that might still be in the toilet bowl would be killed by the chlorine in the water. It takes very little to kill the virus outside of the body.
partially clogged drain or vent, improperly installed vent or drain
Excessive velocity (FPS) on every toilet there is a globe pattern valve to THROTTLE to slow the volume and get rid of the noise
I would think because the room temperature is warm, or possibly warmer than usual.
I don't think that there is enough toilets for that
There are a variety of possible reasons that would cause water not to go down when flushed. The most common reasons are (1) an object has been accidently (or spitefully!) flushed in a previous flush and lodged within the toilet or the drain pipe. (2) Build up has formed in the toilet line so that the normal contents plug the line temporarily. Solutions: mechanical snake. If necessary remove toilet. Prevention: (1) None known (2) Treat toilet line with microbial build-up remover product periodically.
