The Swiss chemist, Georges Audemars invented the first crude artificial silk around 1855, by dipping a needle into liquid mulberry bark pulp and gummy rubber to make threads.
rayon or nylon..mostly rayon i guess
first barbie doll is produced!

It wasn't a one man effort, inventing fiber optics. Works were inspired by John Tyndall who first discovered light can travel an irregular path through glass. Alexander Graham Bell later contributed. Heinrich Lamm in 1930 put the first fiber optic cable together stranding cable together and sending a signal across the wire. There were many other people who helped improve it over the year. Al Gore is not the father of Fiber Optic cables, in case you were wondering.
First produced in Belle, WV 1930
The first synthetic fiber, nylon, was produced by a team of researchers led by Wallace Carothers at DuPont in 1935. Nylon was developed as a replacement for silk and quickly became popular for use in a wide range of products, such as stockings and clothing.
Natural. It is the fiber made by the silkworm to surround the cocoon of the silk worm larva.
The "fiber" used in fake fur is primarily acrylic, produced from petrochemicals (oil).
Silk is a natural protein fiber produced by insects. The silk from moth caterpillars is the primary one used in textile manufacturing. Silk fabric was first produced in Ancient China.
a natural fiber
The first synthetic fiber was nylon, which was discovered in 1935 by Wallace Carothers, a chemist working for DuPont. Nylon was developed as a replacement for silk and quickly became popular for use in stockings, ropes, and other textile products.

A twitch is the rapid rise and fall in force produced by a muscle fiber after a single action potential.
Dietary fiber is not produced from carbohydrates. Dietary fiber is a type of carbohydrate. There are three main types of carbohydrates: Simple carbohydrates such as sugar, complex carbohydrates such as breads and cereals, and fiber such oat bran or fruit skin. All three types can be found combined but in varying amounts in many foods.
Natural fibre - it is produced by Angora goats.
Silk is the only natural fiber classified as a filament fiber. It is produced by silkworms and consists of long, continuous strands that can be woven into luxurious fabric.
Rayon is a manufactured regenerated cellulose fiber. Because it is produced from naturally occurring polymers, it is neither a truly synthetic fiber nor a natural fiber; it is a semi-synthetic[1] or artificial[2] fiber.
