towards the front left end of the fuse box it should be fuse number 12.
The only butterfly valve I am aware of is in the carbuerator and contols air flow. Few cans still use this item.
It's likely a bad cable off the #2 seat motor. See this link: http://www.volvo-forums.com/t18304-850-seat-back-cable-repair.htm

There is no relay for the horn!
The Volvo 850 has two horns in front of the radiator, lift the hood and their they are.
If the horn and alarm horn on your 1997 Volvo 850 are not working, first check the fuse related to the horn system, as a blown fuse can cause both to fail. Additionally, inspect the horn relay and wiring for any signs of damage or corrosion. If those components are functioning, the issue may lie within the horn switch on the steering wheel or the alarm system itself. Testing these components with a multimeter can help pinpoint the problem.
You have to remove the glove-box. You will find the relay back - to left.

The horn relay is the same as the wiper relay, it's located under the fusebox under the hood next to the driver side hinge. the fuse box comes out & there's another box attached to the bottom. it has a bunch of relays, the horn/wiper relay is in the top row, 3rd from the left (or 2nd from the right). if you're having trouble w/ the horn, and the intermittent wiper still works, it's probably the horn contacts in the steering wheel.
the relay is located within the hazzard flasher switch. If faulty replace flasher switch and it will sort out the problem
i dont know i came here for the answer
Do you have your terminology right....The injector relay would be the computer right??? The fuel pump relay could cause that problem!!!! good luck and let me know
There's no Volvo 850 2000. What you likely saw was a S70.
In the housing of the hazard dash switch, you can unmount it pulling it forward out of the dash.
Check and change the relay
