There are a few parts to an answer. How deep is the water in your well? Is there sludge or sediment at the bottom of the well? How deep is this and how much is clean water? How long is your pump? How long is the motor housing?

I just placed a 70cm pump, motor 35cm, in 250cm if clean water. 20cm of sludge. The bottom the motor housing was placed about 40cm above the sludge which means there is about 75 cm of clean water below the water inlet and 175cm of water above the pump. It will take many years for the sludge to rise and even in low water periods I should stay in operation.

What should I consider before purchasing Submersible Cables?

Submersible Cables are designed to supply electrical power to submersible pumps and other compatible equipment operating in demanding or underwater environments. Choosing the right cable is essential for dependable power transmission and long-term operating performance. Before purchasing submersible cables, consider the conductor material, insulation type, number of cores, cable size, voltage rating, operating temperature, installation depth, and compatibility with the pump. The cable should be suitable for the intended application and installed according to the manufacturer's specifications and applicable electrical safety requirements. Neon Cables Pvt. Ltd. offers different submersible cable options, including PVC-insulated submersible cables, flat submersible cables, round submersible cables, and rubber-insulated cable variants. These options can serve suitable pump installations and other applications according to their technical specifications. Buyers should review the product datasheet and confirm the required cable length, size, and construction before placing an order. Proper selection and installation can help support reliable pump operation.
