Other compound machines, such as cars, consist of hundreds or even thousands of simple machines. Two common examples of compound machines are scissors and fishing rods with reels.
A compound machine lets you trade out energy force and effort. Example: If you have a wheelbarrow and 50 pounds of bricks what would you use your bar hands are the wheelbarrow. Of course the wheel barrow cause it is much easier to use.
