George Westinghouse invented a better way to deliver electricity to consumers in sweatshops and other jobs before and during the Great Depression. Westinghouse debated over the Alternative Current and the Direct Current with Thomas Edison.
DC, or Direct Current, was not invented in the traditional sense as it is a very simple and common way to transfer power through a conductor. Far too common to pinpoint the first person who discovered it. Thomas Edison developed direct current, but it was only with Nikola Tesla's help that Edison ever developed any useful generators for direct current. It's odd that we credit Edison with inventing the light bulb AND direct current when Nikola Tesla is to direct current what Edison is to the light bulb.

Refridgerator Technology Electrical Lighting (The light bulb was invented in 1869, but electrical lighting wasn't invented until 1895 and AC/DC current wasn't invented until 1919.) The main advantage of alternating current (AC) over direct current (DC) is safety.DC locks you onto the current AC throws you away as it alternates.AC was invented by Nikola Tesla.Another advantageis that it may be transformed to a very high voltage for transmission over great distances. By doing so the losses due to line resistance are reduced since the current, for a given power, is reduced in inverse proportion.
A trembler bell is a non-polarized bell operated by current that is made intermittent by a contact associated with the bell hammer. It was invented and later patented by J. F. Molaughlin.
current is discovered not invented!!!!!!!!!!
it was invented as a current in art to express movement
D.Uday Kumar invented it
Tesla.
Newton
Nikola Tesla in the 1880's did so.
No one discovered it, it was invented.

The Current Canadian Flag was 'invented' during the minority government of Lester B. Pearson.
An ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the electric current in a circuit and was invented by Hans Christian Ørsted
No-one invented current. Discovery and description is usually associated with Andre-Marie Ampere in his studies into electromagnetism, although it is likely that it was known but (officially) unnamed before this.
