Yes he invented it in the early 1900"S
The seat belt, for primary use in airplanes, was first created by Seth H. Stoner. He was in the Navy during World War II. He was a Lt. Commander based in Washington and primarily focused on how to reduce the number of accidents and fatalities of pilots taking off and landing on aircraft carriers. He worked with a team of safety engineers and the seat belt was the result of their work. The seat belt did not appear in cars until later in the 1950's.
Have seat belt laws made a diffrenceYes. The seat belt law has saved many lives and money.$$$$$
the seat warmers were invented in 1951 but did not receive a patent until 1955.
buggie
All Volvo cars have seat belt. Volvo invented the three point seat belt and has used it ever since.
Nils Bohlin invented the three-point seat belt. Not the first but the modern ones we use today.
Garrett Morgan did not invent the seat belt. The modern 3-point seat belt was invented by Nils Bohlin, which was introduced in 1959. Garrett Morgan did, however, did invent a version of the traffic light (though he was not the first)
Tomas Jefferson
The seat belt was invented by George Cayley, a British engineer and inventor, in the mid-19th century. Cayley designed a safety belt for passengers in horse-drawn carriages, and his design included a strap that was attached to the floor of the carriage and passed between the passenger's legs, with another strap that passed over the shoulder. However, Cayley's seat belt was never put into widespread use and was largely forgotten until the 20th century. The modern seat belt, as we know it today, was invented by a Swedish engineer named Nils Bohlin. Bohlin worked for the Volvo car company, and he developed the three-point seat belt in the late 1950s. Bohlin's seat belt design was a significant improvement over earlier designs because it included a lap belt and a shoulder belt that were connected and could be tightened by the passenger. The three-point seat belt was first installed in Volvo cars in 1959, and it quickly became a standard safety feature in vehicles around the world.
to save peoples lifes
Mr. Nazareth invented them. In 1244. He was bored so he invented them.
Volvo had the first safety belts in 1849. But then Nils Bohlin invented the three-point seat belt - not the first but the modern seatbelt - now a standard safety device in most cars. Nils Bohlin's lap-and-shoulder belt was introduced by Volvo in 1959.

Look under the seat or at the seat belt anchor point and see if the wire for the alarm has been disconnected.
