Waterjet uses up to 60,000 psi pressure to project water streams through the cutting head. With the high pressure of the water, and abrasive particles (garnet) mixed in with the cutting stream, the waterjet is able to cut up to 12" thick materials.
the first jet engine was invented by a engish engineer called sir Frank Whittle but it was later invented in Germany by a Dr. Hans von Ohain, but Frank had already patented the jet engine.
The Germans invented the first operational jet engine during WW2.
well he invented the jet engine because he thought it a good idea.sorry not much help.
A deep well jet water pump operates on the principle of creating a vacuum to lift water from deep underground. It consists of a jet assembly that uses a high-velocity jet of water to create a low-pressure area, allowing groundwater to be drawn into the pump. As water enters the jet assembly, it mixes with the high-velocity jet and is propelled upward through a discharge pipe. This system effectively utilizes the energy from the water flow to lift and deliver water to the surface.
The first laser machine for cutting metal was invented in the late 1960s. This technology revolutionized the manufacturing industry by providing a more precise and efficient method for cutting various types of metals.
Industries that requires the fabrication of machine pieces or the cutting and shaping of a material, such as aerospace and mining, use water jet cutting.
Water jet
When performing water jet calculations for a cutting process, key considerations include the pressure of the water jet, the nozzle size and shape, the material being cut, and the desired cutting speed. These factors affect the efficiency and precision of the cutting process.
One limitation of water jet cutting machines is their slower cutting speed compared to traditional methods like laser or plasma cutting, especially for thicker materials. Additionally, the process can produce a rougher edge finish, requiring secondary finishing operations. Water jet cutting also necessitates careful material selection, as some materials, such as those that can absorb water or are sensitive to pressure, may not be suitable. Lastly, the setup can be more complex and costly due to the need for high-pressure pumps and specialized equipment.
Their are many advantages to water jet cutting that make it one of the best methods to cut items. First off since it requires and produces no heat the materials are not warped due to the high temperatures. Also water jet cutting allows for extreme precision that is not available from other forms of cutting.

A water-jet loom is a machine for weaving cloth (loom) which uses a jet of water to insert the weft (crosswise threads) into the warp (lengthwise threads).
Abrasive water jet cutting can cut aluminium, stainless steel and brass with no ternishing. It can also cut ceramic floor and wall tiles, granite, marble, slate and limestone.
Abrasive water-jet cutting, is when one uses water jets for cutting and removing materials. The water jets may contain abrasive powder, and can be used to cut titanium, marble, and glass.
Someone accidentally strapped a fully functional jet engine to a pair of water skis.
