Lady Augusta Ada Byron, also called as Ada Lovelace, was an English mathematician. She was also a writer. She is often called as the first computer programmer who contributed to Charles Babbage's early mechanical general-purpose computer and the Analytical Engine. Ada Lovelace's father, Lord Byron, left her mother, Lady Byron, shortly after Ada was born. Their tumultuous marriage was marked by conflicts and Byron's notorious reputation, which contributed to their separation. Lady Byron, who was concerned about her husband's behavior and mental health, sought to distance herself from him, ultimately raising Ada on her own. Byron never returned to see Ada, passing away when she was just eight years old.
