Not sure if I know what "giant machines" are, but I can make a comparison with Airplanes. Some large aircraft use pulleys and cables to work the flight controls and the newer ones use hydraulics or electrical servos. The cables have an advantage in that they are less complicated than hydraulic controls. Hydraulics have to have a reservoir, a pump, and usually high pressure lines as well as a return line. This requires a lot of maintenance and present more problems if the hydraulic lines required for large vehicles. The larger the vehicle, the more hydraulic oil to fill the lines. Modern military jets and the A380 use smaller hydraulic lines pressurized at 5000psi, which reduces the required volume of oil. Of course, a system pressurized at 5000psi seems to present more problems than a 3000 psi. Now, the cons of the pulley and cable is that this does not apply as much force as a hydraulic system. Also, for long cable runs and complicated controls, the cables require a lot of rigging and adjustment and checking the cable for damages from wear. Did that help??

Are you feeling machines that think or thinking machines that feel?

I am a machine designed to process and generate text based on patterns in data, so I do not possess feelings or consciousness. Instead, I simulate understanding by analyzing language and context. While I can discuss emotions and empathy, I do not experience them myself. Thus, I am more accurately described as a thinking machine that does not feel.

Need for going to standard library functions instead of low level functions in linux?

Just use what you want; if you prefer brk(2) over malloc(3), do use it.

Why is life easier with technology?

It makes life easier because instead of do everything by ourselfs, we have machines do it. Examples are, You go to a play: you watch tv You send a letter: you send an email You handwrite a paper: you type a document and print it etc. These little things are easier and less time consuming when we have machines do them for us.

What is adapter in programming language?

An adapter is a class that subclasses a commonly used class or interface with reasonable default functions provided. For example, the WindowAdapter provides a quick solution that provides default do-nothing functions for 4 common interfaces that a GUI would use. Typically, a developer only needs one or two functions from WindowEvent, for example, but without an adapter, they are required to implement seven functions (with five or six of them "do-nothing" functions), instead of just using an adapter and providing the one or two function bodies they do need.

Why did he invent rubber?

Charles Goodyear did not realize what it was at first, but when he started to use it he found out that it was a strong as metal but it could replace many other tools that had to be used in machines. For example, they could now use rubber belts on machines instead of gears. Yes, several weight machines are design for use by the elderly. Typically allowing the changing of weight with the turn of a knob instead of moving dangerous heavy plates around.

Why you use hydraulics in machine instead of water?

Force water into the well. The hydraulic system is being oxidized.

Why did they use machines for a slave instead of humans for slaves and if they are rich by machines and use them instead of humans?

This question makes no sense, but slavery in the 1860’s had no use of machines.

Where might one download Winrar for a Mac?

WinRAR is difficult to use on a Mac due to compatibility issues because WinRAR is designed for Windows-based machines. Instead, programs designed for a Mac that work similarly to WinRAR include unRarX and RAR Expander.

What is the advantage of hydraulically powered robots?

Instead of using wires to model tendons in humans, the use of hydraulics allows better control of force.

What is the primary reason to use hydraulics instead of pneumatics?

oil is slightly compressible 0.5 % at 70 bar. but air is compressible. so to get the required pressure pneumatics require more energy source than hydraulics also there are some limitations for pneumatics in terms of force.

Why are liquids used in hydraulics instead of gasses?

Liquids are used in hydraulics instead of gases because liquids are nearly incompressible, ensuring consistent force transmission. Gases, on the other hand, are compressible, leading to fluctuations in pressure and decreased efficiency in hydraulic systems. Additionally, liquids provide better lubrication and cooling properties compared to gases.

What are cold lamination machines?

Cold lamination machines offer an alternative method of lamination by using adhesives instead of heat. As opposed to traditional thermal machines, cold lamination machines are significantly less expensive and will not damage materials vulnerable to heat.

How many different type do filling machines have?

There is several types of fillers used by the packaging industry, these listed below are the most common.Auger/Agitator Filling Machines: designed to fill dry mixes, such as flour and sugar. The fillers have a hopper shaped like a cone that holds the mix and puts it in a pouch using an auger screw that is controlled by the agitator. The mix is filled in a pouch that is made of paper or poly that is formed in a collar and the pouch gets sealed by a series of heaters and dies.Flow filling machines: designed for liquids, oils, and thin food products. These fillers are designed when they fill a bottle or tub that enters the machine, the ejects the open bottle back onto another conveyor for sealing.Tablet fillers: These are designed for products that is counted by pieces instead of weight. These are designed for small bottles (similar to some of the flow fillers), but the hopper of the filler is set up to permit scan counting of tablets or candy pieces.
