You can live on a mountain.

Of course, it costs a lot of money to haul the food, materials, and goods required for you to live well on top of the mountain. Depending on the mountain, it may be so high that you would require oxygen to breathe, and so cold that you need lots of heat to keep comfortable.

But it's do-able, if you're willing to spend the money.
