Because bike riding beats walking, and bikes are much cheaper than cars, and most Chinese haven't got the money for a car.
Different cars use different microprocessors, and as cars get more sophisticated, they have more types of microprocessors. The original Prius had more computing power in it than was used, in space and on Earth combined, for the first mission to put people on the moon, I am told. That car had multiple computers for multiple jobs, and they did not all use the same processor.
Cars are complex/compund Machines, consisting of (way) more than one simple machine.
Cars are made from metal because it is hard, strong, and inexpensive. Many early cars were made mostly of wood, but these cars broke apart in accidents and long sharp wood splinters killed people. Much work has been done on making cars of a variety of different plastics, to varying degrees of success.

Many people in China own cars. In the past, prior to the 1980s, very few Chinese people owned cars, but as China's economy grows and Chinese people's lives are improved, more and more Chinese people can finally afford to own a car. However, there are still a LOT of bicycles in China. I would say that more Chinese own a bicycle than own a car.

The city on the other hand has many more cars, and the cars give out air pollution which is bad for the environment.
