1. there should be a weight/float connected to the underside of the flap inside the tank. these can come out occasionally and fall into the tank or the tank drain. look to see if the it has become detached, and if so, just reconnect it to the bottom of the flap.
2. if not, you may need to adjust the length of the chain connected to the flush lever.
3. if the flap closes but leaks, it can easily be replaced
