Nuclear power plants are bad for the environment because of the unpreventable release of radioactive materials. What many people forget is that radiation is energy, not a material. A material that emits radiation is called radioactive material. Back to the point, radiation causes long-term effects and can pollute almost everything. Water is used to cool reactors and when it leaks into the environment, radiation poisoning is usually the effect. Radiation that comes from the power plant itself can poison surrounding plants, animals, and people. Effects from high radiation exposure (the sun emits radiation) are radiation poisoning, cancer, brain damage, birth defects, infertility, etc.
because the oil of the trucks and nuclear power plant can be bad for the ozone lair and is making it thin-er and eventually it will be so small that the ozone lair will be not there and the sun will fry us all
Some materials like plastic are bad for the environment.
•Shut it down.•If that i not possible: •Clean the smoke (scrubbers etc) •Sequester the CO2
what is negative of the nuclear power plant
Because the power plant is the source of electricity
Air pollution
it can cause wastelands and contamination to the environment
Just about all power plants have a negative effect on the environment however, if a nuclear power plant is run properly it has a chance of not polluting the environment almost at all.
Produces electricity with out polluting the air
well, wave power is a renewable energy source so it is far better for the environment. it doesn't have an impact - it isn'tgreat for the environment but it isn't bad either. therefore referring back tot the question, no, it does NOT have an impact on our precious environment at all.
It depends, if you are a hippy i guess it will be good if you hate the environment its probably bad
A bad flare can induce excess voltage in the power lines, which can cause the the power plant to shut down, or even get damaged
no all of it is bad
Electricity itself is naturally occurring in the environment and does not do significant damage except in instances of lightning strikes. However, human methods of generating electricity to provide power do cause harm to the environment. To name a few, coal and natural gas burning power plants release carbon dioxide and toxins into the air, and nuclear power plants create harmful radioactive wastes.
because the oil of the trucks and nuclear power plant can be bad for the ozone lair and is making it thin-er and eventually it will be so small that the ozone lair will be not there and the sun will fry us all
yes. this can burn the plant
There are varied effects of power plant. This will provide the necessary energy required in most industrial, commercial and residential activities but also affects the environment negatively due to pollution.
