I've heard some success stories about people who have great careers in the fashion industry and didn't attend fashion college but just think how much easier it would be to launch your career with an education from a fashion college! Not to mention all the networking that you could do and collaborate with other people who are also fashion enthusiast's! I have friends who graduated from FIDM and they told me that the school really helped them to guide them in the right direction with their careers and taught them the right information to help them succeed in the fashion industry. So to answer your question, I would say attend a fashion college because the benefits are HUGE!
