I would most definitely genetically engineer my child. The average human craves a child that won't get bullied or pushed around, but does not possess the mental strength of creating one that doesn't contain their flesh and blood. I want a badass child, so nothing would get in my way.
Given the high (i.e. nonzero) probability that any child of mine would end up with a genetic disorder or propensity to an illness, removing the alleles responsible for those problems would much increase the quality of life for that child. On the other side of that, many problems caused by a lack of certain alleles or combinations of alleles can be repaired by simply ensuring the required allele combinations exist.
On the whole, a GE child would have a better life.
A Dragon.
An environmental engineer would be the type of engineer to be involved in preventing pollution.
Any electrical engineer under 5 foot would be a short electrical engineer. :)
Exposure to mutagens, such as chemicals, radiation ect. May I ask why you would want to do this?
If what you meen is if I genetically engineer an organism can it reproduce the new code information the answer is yes ie humans have genetically engineered some bacteria to clean up oil spill but they don't want to have to make all five billion monera over and over again so the genetically modified organisms with parts in their body that are modified at a level of DNA will "spread" the gene and reproduce
A Dragon.
nothing because to genetically engineer a child or change them is currently illegal
Yes, absolutely.
because this is the way that they decided to do it. that is all, nothing more................
Perhaps some day someone will genetically engineer a horse to have a horn, but until then, no.
physiological, addition of a bitter taste to the plant's leaves
No, They would become more intelligent then us and take over the world...PLANET OF THE TURKEYS... WHO NEEDS TANKS AND WAR PLANES?! WE GOT TURKEYS! What would happen to Thanksgiving?! Besides, we already have genetically engineered giant turkeys. They're called ostriches. And just for the record, why would you WANT to genetically engineer turkeys?
the estimated age of a child that is genetically modified when it dies is 122
The company Taconic promotes David T. Hansen and allows him to research and engineer the ability to genetically engineer and research models and services.
Hypothetically anything is possible but not probable.
The child is not genetically related to either parent.
That would not be good. The babies would probably have some things genetically wrong with them, as having a father dog mate with his daughter.
