To answer look at the rate that the watch is getting faster.
It got 3 minutes faster in 10 hours, So every (10hrs/3) 3 hours 20 mins it gets one minute faster.
We need to get 2 minutes faster to have the correct time, so it will take 2 times that much, 6 hours 40 mins, to speed up to the correct time.
So 6 hours 40 mins after 8am, 2:40 pm, the watch gives the correct time.
