Advantages and disadvantages of wired communication?

advantages of wired connection:
1.Security-it offers a more secure connection since data is not being transmitted thru the air.
2.Reliability-offers a more reliable connection where WIFI is susceptible to interference & random signal loss.
3.Speed-most

Disadvantages:

1) Wired and therefore more difficult to setup. Drilling holes in wall, running cables in lofts etc, fitting sockets and redecorating.
2) More expensive to set up
3) More time consuming to set up
4) Not as flexible, can only use where there is a socket - cannot use outside for example
5) Wired systems cannot be used in eg listed buildings
