Composition is to create something by your own while comprehension is about to understand something created by anyone else .🙂🙂
A good composition should have an introduction (one paragraph), a body (depends on what kind of composition you're doing...minimum is 1 paragraph), and a conclusion (one paragraph). When I write a composition, it usually comes out to 3 pages, double spaced. Bottom line, it depends on what type of composition you are writing.

Motif--A recurring subject, theme or idea. Thus being in a musical work, art, or literature. Phrases--A section of a musical composition. Usually 4 or 8 measures.
Phrases in music are short musical ideas that create a sense of melody and rhythm. They contribute to the overall structure and flow of a musical composition by providing a framework for the development of themes and motifs. Phrases help to organize the music into sections, create contrast, and build tension and release, ultimately shaping the emotional impact of the piece.
