If you are inclined to go to Brownings home page,you should be able to date your Browning BDA by looking at the customer service site and there will be a title age your browning firearm.
I spoke with a representative of Browning yesterday afternoon... I only asked about the .30-06 version, and apparently only 305 were scheduled to be made in that caliber.
