I don't think men are literally frightened of virgins as much as they may be afraid of what a virgin might bring to a relationship. They may fear a virgin is too inexperienced to have sexual relations with and that sex will not feel as good or fear that if they do have sex the virgin will become clingy or want to get married right away. These are just some stereotypes that come with virginity and shouldn't always be taken to heart as everyone is different.
