Can he be an adjective

He can never EVER be an adjective. An adjective is a word that modifies something.

Ex: incredible,tasty,small, big, tantalising etc. etc. etc.

HOWEVER, HE IS A PRONOUN!!

A pronoun is something that takes the place of a repetitive noun.

If I want to use he, I will use it this way.

I CANNOT SAY:

Richard has been donating to charity continuously. Richard is a rich man with lots of money. Tomorrow, Richard will be given the "Best Role Model" award.

Instead, I SHOULD say:

Richard has been donating to charity continuously. HE is a rich man with lots of money. Tomorrow, HE will be given the "Best Role Model" award.

I can also say:

Richard, who is a rich man with lots of money, has been donating to charity continuously. HE will be given the "Best Role Model" award.

Remember, pronouns and adjectives are different. Adjectives tell us more about the noun while pronouns replace the repetitive noun.
