Expediate is not a proper word. It is a common misconstruction of the word expedite. However, many people still use it so an example sentence would be:

Although the company had problems before with Tom, his irresponsible actions expediated his being fired from the company.


But keep in mind, the word expediate is not really even a word so do not frequent using it.
