"Remember the Roses" is a fictional story about Joan of Arc written by "Avery Taylor"
Its about a guy, Robert who is helped by a girl to rescue (or silence) one of his friends of the army, from a prison from which the escape is impossible as all the secret tunnels had been closed by the French after some war.
But Joan, with a name, "Jehane" as she told to the guy, (i.e. Her original name), helps him rescue the friend taken captive by the army by leading him through some underground tunnels. At the end, Jehane tells Robert to bring roses to her after the war is over, He will find her in the corner of the main street, she says and gives him a ssouvenir to remember her by.
Back in his safe zone, Robert investigates to find out that Jehane was the name of Joan of Arc. The souvenir, a necklace read in French, that further proved she was Joan.
Later at the end of the war, Robert comes back to the street of France as Jehane had told and put the bouquet of flowers he had in his hand, brought especially for her, and he said,"See Jehane, I Remember the roses".
