Chapter five Juana tries to get rid of it but kino finds her and beats her. These men assault Kino trying to get the pearl from him. Juana gets up from her knees and sees the pearl then sees Kino on the floor wailing for the pearl. She shows him that she has it and they plan to escape. Therefore she wants him to get rid of it.
