Yes, such a book does exist. It was written by Virgilio Panozzo in 1999. It tells the story of the town and contains extensive lists of all the 'family' names and variations. Very interesting reading. My grandparents are in the book. I got my copy through the Tresche Conca Society which is based in Chicago. There are gatherings every June and December I think. I do not have a web address for them. There is a Panozzo funeral home on the south side of Chicago and I think you can get information through them. The current president of the Tresche Conca Society is Peter Panozzo. He can be reached at petepanozzo@sbcglobal.net
I am very interested in obtaining a copy of this book today. Anyone know where I could do that? My grandpa's family is from here and he is specifically spoken about in the book. He opted to change his last name from Panozzo to Palmo. It was an original Clan name as I am to understand it.
If it could not really happen, and has nothing to do with science, it is probably called ficion, or fantasy.
